Break a World Record

Why We Do This

For Eric. For Every Athlete.

Eric Hasenyager · 1978 – 2026

Eric Hasenyager founded Ice Athletes LLC with one unshakable belief: that no athlete of any age, in any sport, should ever suffer a heat injury again. When Eric passed away suddenly in 2026 at just 48 years old, his family, friends, and the athletic community he served made a promise — his mission would not end.

National Stay Cool Day is that promise kept. It honors all those who have been lost to heat stroke, and it protects everyone still on the field, the court, the track, and the ice.
